Cesky Krumlov town centre
ceskykrumlov_map.JPG
Plesivecke Namesti at bottom left.

Getting there By air to Prague (180km) or Linz (70km). By rail to Cesky Krumlov or Ceske Budjeovice and then by taxi. Trains are generally reliable, punctual and cheap, first class will give you a more comfortable journey. Taxis are better value if ordered from Krumlov to meet you at the airport. This can be arranged for you

Language Czech. German is the second language in this region. Youngsters now learn English at school whereas their parents were taught Russian. It is easy to get by with English but a few words of Czech go down well.
